ARLINGTON, MA — Police say Warren Street is now reopen after what appeared to be a Toyota Prius, with the words "hybrid ride" on the rear passenger window crashed into a two family home just after 9:30 a.m. this morning. No one was harmed although two people were home at the time of the crash. Arlington Fire officials now say the biggest concern is the structural integrity of the house.
A building inspector was on scene assessing next steps, according to police. A photo shows the pillars holding up the second story porch visibly shifted to the side.
Police say the car into the building was actually part of a two car crash near the corner of Warren and Franklin streets that resulted in the driver heading into the house. That driver was cited for Marked Lane Violation and Speeding, according to police, but they could not say whether the two cars connected before the one hit the house.

"Hybrid Ride" is an airport taxi-shuttle service based out of Dedham, though Police said they could not confirm that the Prius was from that company.
The clapboard house the car crashed into was built about 1925 and has two units, assessed to be worth $921,600 combined. No word on the estimated damage.
