Come Kick off the Summer with the 3rd Annual Arlington Alive Summer Arts Block Party! Saturday 6/20 noon to 5pm!
Artisans booths, family fun area with arts/crafts, food, live music. All-day free!
Arlington will come alive with the third annual Summer Arts Block Party on Saturday, June 20, 2015, for a free all-day event that celebrates the arts in the community with live music, artisan and craft booths, food vendors, and special activities for children.
From noon to 5:00pm, visitors will hear an eclectic mix of live musical performances on two different stages featuring The Roy Sludge Trio, The Snap Daddies, plus family friendly music from Ben Rudnick and Friends, browse artisan and craft booths in the Arts Promenade featuring unique visual artists’ wares, and grab a bite at the Food Pavilion, serving up a wide array of food from Arlington-based restaurants for purchase. Kids and families can take a break at the Family Arts Area and engage in interactive games, crafts, and fun activities.
The Summer Arts Block Party takes place in Arlington Center, at Broadway Plaza and the Jefferson Cutter House green, on Saturday, June 20, from noon to 5:00 pm. All events are free. Free off street parking is available in the Russell Commons Lot, plus the festival is easily accessible by the MBTA.
