Fall Open House at the Old Schwamb Mill

Come visit the Old Schwamb Mill, Arlington’s hidden gem. A living history museum and manufactory of oval picture frames since 1864, the Mill is located on the oldest continuously operating mill site in North America.

Event Highlights: continuous Mill tours, frame-turning demonstrations on original 19th century lathes, and the closing reception for the quilt exhibition “Binding Threads” featuring the works of eight contemporary quilters.
Enjoy from 3:00 to 4:30pm a concert by jazz/rock trio Sea Smoke.

Shopping is available at Shaker Workshops in our 18th-century barn: furniture, lamps, rugs and many unique gift items. Hours: Mon-Sat, 10-5pm
