Go! Song of Mine

Acclaimed violinist Frank Powdermaker will join The Master Singers of Lexington for an evening of English choral songs from the 19th and 20th centuries on Saturday May 7, 8:00 pm, at First Parish UU Church in Lexington center.
 
The concert features “drawing room favorites” written to delight audiences of their time, including Britten’s Five Flower Songs, Vaughan Williams' In Windsor Forest, Holst's Canons and Go, Song of Mine and Elgar's Salut d'amour and La capricieuse for violin and piano.

Tickets are $23 for adults and $18 for students and seniors. Discounts are available for Greater Boston Choral Consortium members and subscribers. Order tickets online at www.themastersingers.org, by calling (800) 595-4TIX (4849), or purchase them at the door. First Parish is fully handicap accessible and there is ample free parking behind the church.
