Trinity Baptist Church will host the Geoff Hicks Ensemble for an evening of gospel and jazz Friday, Aug. 26 on its front lawn, 115 Mass. Ave., Arlington, at 7 p.m. Dr. Hicks is the minister of music at historic Tremont Temple Baptist Church in downtown Boston. Admission is free; an offering will be taken to defray expenses. All are welcome -- bring a blanket!
