Holiday Benefit/Bash With The Vivs

The Vivs are a Boston-based rock band inspired by their love of songs, harmonies, guitars, and good words. They worship at the altar of rock: the visceral energy of Mission of Burma and Human Sexual Response, the humor and perfection of the Kinks, the sonic braininess of Yo La Tengo, and the distaff awesomeness of Scrawl and The Breeders.
The band is still relatively new, though they'd all played in other bands—including Tribe, Trona, Seks Bomba, and Edith. A bunch of them had kids (who are now school-age) and took time off from making music.
