Take part is a fascinating art workshop. Learn Kolam, a geometrical line drawing composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots, is a form of sandpainting that is drawn using rice powder. Traditionally female members of the family in South India make these works of art each day in front of their home. This workshop is open to 6 through 10 year olds. Register online beginning June 15. Location: Fox Branch Library community room.
