The Cyrus Dallin Art Museum announces its 2011-2012 Art Contest for Arlington middle school (6th – 8th grades) students. Cash and other prizes will be awarded. The grand prize is $100 cash.
Interested students, their parents, and teachers are invited to attend an open house at the museum on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 1-4 P.M. Museum docents and board members will be present to answer questions about the contest and to introduce students to the sculptures in the collection. The contest will culminate in a juried art award ceremony and exhibition at the Cutter Gallery in May 2012.
