'Hate' Graffiti Found At Arlington Elementary School
Graffiti containing "swears, racial slurs" was reported in a first-floor bathroom.

ARLINGTON, MA – Officials at one Arlington elementary school are referring to graffiti found on a bathroom stall as hate speech, according to YourArlington. In an email to the Thompson School community Friday, Principal Karen Donato wrote that graffiti was found in a first-floor bathroom.
"The graffiti contained swears, racial slurs, and has been removed," the email stated. It was reported to the Arlington Police Department and Human Rights Commission.
Donato wrote that she does not know how many students saw the graffiti, adding, "Hate speech has no place here at Thompson or any school."
