ICYMI: Flora Restaurant in East Arlington Announces Official Closing Date
The restaurant has announced its official closing date after 20 years of business.

ARLINGTON, MA—An East Arlington mainstay which has been open for 20 years has set its official closing date.
Flora Restaurant, which has been open for 20 years, announced via its Facebook account that its final meal will be served on July 15.
Bob and Mary Jo Sargent, the owners of East Arlington's Flora restaurant, are leaving the restaurant and will be passing it off to new owners Cyrille Coucet and Wayne Duprey. The couple announced that the restaurant will be re-branded with a new name and concept.

Coucet and Duprey plan to open "Financier", described as a french-inspired restaurant celebrating local ingredients.
The restaurant has raised $9,808 of its $20,000 goal through its Kickstarter page. Financier plans to open in September of 2016.

Flora was originally set to close June 30, according to the Kickstarter page.
