Infographic: Could You Survive Without a Car in Arlington?
Data from FindTheHome.com gave a "WalkIQ" walkability score to each community in Middlesex County. Do you agree with their findings?
Arlington, MA—Few people would mind never having to pay upwards of $60 to fill up their gas tank, but we all know that is not a possibility in many communities.
Particularly in Arlington, where many residents living outside of areas such as Massachusetts Avenue may find themselves hopping in the car to complete the most necessary tasks. What would happen if you didn't have a car? Would you be able to survive without one?
FindTheHome.com attempted to tackle that question. The real estate listing and research website issued a "WalkIQ" walkability score for every city and town in Middlesex County. The WalkIQ is a relative score measured by finding the number of stores, amenities, points of interest and parks that are within walking distance for the median home in each community
