Interactive Lionel Model Train Exhibit

Lionel Collectors Club of America and Lionel Trains host 45th LCCA Annual Convention; public Invited to an Interactive Model Train Exhibit.

As part of the 45th Lionel Collectors Club of America’s Annual Convention this summer, the public is invited to an interactive Lionel model train exhibit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore Hotel, 50 Ferncroft Road, Danvers.

WHO: Lionel Collectors Club of America, an international club of over 12,000 model train hobbyists, collectors, and rail fans; and Lionel, the iconic model train company which is celebrating its 115th anniversary this year.

WHAT: The week-long 45th LCCA Annual Convention, being held in Massachusetts this year, will feature a special interactive Lionel model train exhibit on July 25 which is free and open to the public. Activities include:

  • Operating train displays for fans of all ages.
  • Play stations where kids (and adults too!) can become junior engineers.
  • Lionel engineers to guide fans as they engage in hands-on play and activate different train sounds and features.
  • Tables where event attendees will be able to buy and sell trains, including hard-to-find items.
