NEMA Announces Museums New England
MuseumsNewEngland.com allows visitors to search many of New England's museums and the ability to map a trip.

August 11, 2016 (Arlington, MA) – New England is the home to a wide variety of fascinating museums--from well-known institutions to small, charming museums off the beaten track. To guide visitors as they discover what New England has to offer, the New England Museum Association (NEMA) has developed MuseumsNewEngland.com. The easy-to-navigate website, gives visitors multiple search options as well as the added ability to map a tour, all in one place.
Visitors can search Museums New England based on their needs, location, and interests. Each search provides them with information, images, and website links for museums that fit their criteria. To make this a one-stop source, the website also comes equipped with Google Maps, so that visitors can plan their complete route between the sites they choose on the website.
With over 280 sites and constantly being updated, we hope Museums New England will help guide visitors from nearby and around the world as they learn about and explore New England. We also hope it will serve as a resource for researchers, event planners, film/photo location scouts, politicians, and the media looking for information about the cultural resources in the area.
