ARLINGTON, MA — In an effort to improve parking availability in Arlington Center, parking meters will be installed at various locations in Arlington Center during the month of October.

The Town of Arlington announced Tuesday that single-space meters will be installed in the Center from Franklin Street to Jason Street and in the Robbins Library Parking Lot. The Town stated in the announcement that the new meters will help increase on-street parking availability and encourage long-term parking in municipal lots, which have no hourly limit and cost 50 cents per hour.

Parking in the metered spaces and in the Robbins parking lot will cost $1 per hour and will have a four-hour limit. Credit cards will be accepted at the meters. Click here for more information.
