New Rankings: Where Does Arlington Rank Among Top School Districts in Massachusetts?

Niche just released its 2017 Best School Districts in America report, and Wilmington Public Schools have made a significant jump forward.

ARLINGTON, MA — Niche.com has released its 2017 report on Best School Districts in America, and Arlington has made a significant jump forward in the rankings compared to 2016.

Niche gave Arlington an overall ranking of 42 in the state and the Arlington Public Schools received an Overall Niche Grade of A. A marked improvement from 2016, where the Arlington Public Schools received a ranking of 83.

APS also received a ranking of 37 in the Greater Boston Area, compared to 2016's ranking of 64.

The report breaks down school districts based on statistics, student and parent reviews and expert insights. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews and more, according to Niche.
