Police Investigating Report of Gunpoint Robbery in East Arlington
Police responded to the call Wednesday night.

Police were called to the corner of Mass. Ave. and Everett Street in East Arlington at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a robbery at gunpoint.
There, a man told police that he had just gotten out of his car and had been robbed at gunpoint. He said another man came up behind him and yelled, “Give me your [expletive] money.” He said the suspect was pointing a handgun at him. He said he then gave the suspect the money he was holding and the suspect fled on Everett Street.
Police, including the department’s K9 unit, searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him.

The incident remains under investigation, according to Arlington Police Capt. Richard Flynn.
