Thursday, August 26

Larceny

6:15 a.m. – A Mill Street woman reported $900 missing from her bank account. The woman, who is unable to go to the bank, gave her account information to a neighbor, who then withdrew money from her account and disappeared for a few days.

Arrest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery

3:55 p.m. – Police arrested a Clinton man at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on a Cambridge District Court warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Shawn Aldrich, 18, was identified by police and arrested after a report of suspicious activity at the cemetery.

Friday, August 27

Home Break-in

1:05 p.m. – A Varnum Street residence was broken into during the morning, according to its owner. The homeowner said a door and window were broken, and someone took a computer, TV and jewelry from the home.

Arrest on Bike Path

10:20 p.m. – Police arrested Richard Diaz, 22, of West Roxbury, on the Minuteman Bikeway near Mill Street on an outstanding warrant. Police responded to the bike path after a report of people trespassing.

Arrest

4:30 a.m. – George Stathis, 40, of Mountain Avenue, was arrested for assault and battery.
