Police Log: Business, Home Tagged; Distracted Driver Causes Accident

On Sunday, an officer on patrol noticed tagging on the wall of 860 Massachusetts Ave., where is located. There were different words in white and back spray paint, police noted. This incident didn’t come through the police log until Friday morning.

On Thursday, a Bartlett Avenue resident told she went home and found her entranceway spray painted. The officer noticed the words “Ganer Mega” in green spray.

The victim said she didn’t notice problems with anyone in the neighborhood.

Distracted Driver Causes Accident

On Wednesday afternoon, police were called to Pleasant Street near Gould Road for a report of a car crash.

According to police, a driver was adjusting his radio and crashed into the back of a vehicle. He was cited for following too closely.

The other driver was complaining of back pain and was taken to Mt. Auburn Hospital, police said.

Resident Receiving Harassing Calls

Also on Wednesday afternoon, a Wachusett Avenue resident told police he was receiving harassing phone calls from “Lester, Glazer and Wilson” at least three times a week. The resident said this has happened in the past. Police wrote down the number on the called I.D. for further investigations.
