Police Log: Motor Vehicles Targeted by Thieves

Thursday, August 12

2:40 a.m. – David Marquis, 20, of Arlington, was arrested for domestic assault and battery after an alleged incident at a Massachusetts Avenue address.

Sunday, August 15

10:07 p.m. – Claire Savage, 34, of South Boston, was arrested for domestic assault and battery after an alleged altercation at a Mystic Street residence.

Incidents

Thursday, August 12

8:42 a.m. – Police responded to a report of graffiti at the Arlington Restaurant and Diner. There, they found "Orakill1" and other markings spray painted on the building.

3:12 p.m. – A rear wheel cover, valued at $300, was reported stolen off of a 2008 Toyota Rav4 at a Valentine Road residence.

Friday, August 13

 12:51 p.m. – A man reported that someone entered his 2006 Ford truck on Harlow Street overnight and stole a GPS unit and two iPods.

8:48 p.m. – A woman reported that someone entered her basement apartment on Pleasant Street during the day and stole a MacBook laptop computer, valued at $1,200, and prescription medication.

 9:29 p.m. – A bicycle was reported stolen from the front yard of a Fremont Court address.

9:45 p.m. – A woman reported that a bicycle was stolen from her front yard on Fremont Street.

Saturday, August 14

 1:25 a.m. – While on patrol, police noticed fresh graffiti at Ottoson Middle School.

Sunday, August 15

10:59 a.m. – Police found graffiti at Waldo Park. The words "All Day Everyday" were written in green paint.

11:54 a.m. – The owner of a motor vehicle on Coolidge Road reported that an mp3 player, a cell phone charger, a pair of sunglasses and an ashtray had been taken from the vehicle overnight.

10:54 p.m. – A car on Lake Street had a digital camera, GPS unit and $10 in loose change taken from it.
