
ARLINGTON, MA — The power went out in Arlington Sunday night just before 10:30 p.m. causing disruption to more than a dozen streets from Sylvia to Tanager to Appleton and Paul Revere Road.
According to one resident the power had to be shut off to extinguish an electrical fire atop a pole on Lancaster Road. Eversource trucks and police were on the scene.
Eversource reported they expected electricity to be back around midnight.
