Pro-Debt Exclusion Group to Donate Remaining Campaign Funds to School District: Report

The Build Arlington's Future campaign committee has announced it will be donating the remaining campaign funds back to the school district.

ARLINGTON, MA — A pro-debt exclusion campaign group will be donating its remaining funds back to the Arlington school department, reports the Arlington Advocate.

According to the Advocate's report, The Building Arlington's Future campaign committee announced Tuesday that it will be donating its remaining $1,100 back to the school department. According to its announcement cited by the Advocate, funds will help fund the library at the newly-announced sixth grade-only school at the Gibbs building in East Arlington.

According to the results of the debt exclusion election on June 14, all three debt exclusions have been passed by Arlington's voters. A total of 31.45 percent or 9,718 of 30,895 registered voters turned out for the election.
