RCN Boston Supports Bridge Over Troubled Waters To Help At-Risk Youth
RCN Boston announced today that its annual golf tournament raised more than $15,000 for Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

BOSTON – (June 9, 2016) –– RCN Boston, a leading provider of Internet, digital TV and phone services, announced today that its annual golf tournament raised more than $15,000 for Bridge Over Troubled Waters. The Boston-based nonprofit provides services and programs that transform the lives of runaway, homeless and high-risk youth to help them gain self-sufficiency. After the tournament, golfers heard from Bruce Neri, a Bridge youth whose life turned around with the help of the organization.
“Bridge Over Troubled Waters does remarkable work with at-risk youth, such as Bruce, in transforming their lives,” said Jeff Carlson, VP and General Manager, RCN Boston. “RCN recognizes the importance of giving back to our community and the funds raised at the golf tournament for Bridge will go towards giving hope to more youth who have nowhere else to turn.”

The RCN Golf Tournament was held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland, Massachusetts.
“Bridge Over Troubled Waters is grateful to have the generous support of RCN to help us do what we do best- save kids’ lives and help them gain independence for their next step into adulthood,” said Elisabeth Jackson, Executive Director of Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Since 1970, Bridge has served more than 100,000 youth in the greater Boston area.
