Sewer Work Continues on Mass. Ave.
MWRA ordered work on Mass. Ave will affect traffic in Arlington into the fall.
Expect to encounter traffic in East Arlington between Massachusetts Avenue and Route 16 in the coming months.
The Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) will be doing court ordered construction on the corner of Mass. Ave. and Route 16 starting through October 31, 2010.
They are installing structures to better control sewer overflows during storms, and separate the pollutants and sewage out of the discharge before it enters the Alewife Brook.
