With Hurricane Earl expected to hit Friday night, here are a few things going on in town during Labor Day weekend:
Friday, September 3
Illustrated Talk: The Majesty of Yosemite National Park

Photographer Frank Tadley will present an illustrated talk based on his recent trip to Yosemite National Park at 1 p.m. at the Council on Aging and Senior Center.
If you're interested in National Parks, the National Heritage Museum in Lexington also has an exhibit, with photographs by Quang Tuan. The museum, open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., features exhibits on Lexington and the American Revolution and the art of the movie theater as well.

Suck – A Rock 'n' Roll Vampire Spoof Movie
The Regent Theatre is showing, tonight through Thursday. The R-rated movie features music by Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper, Velvet Underground, David Bowie and the Rolling Stones.

Menotomy Beer & Wine is holding its weekly Saturday wine tasting from 4 to 7 p.m. The free tasting features wine and specialty cheese.
