Three Things to do in Arlington This Weekend

It is easy to feel a bit down as the end of a four day work week comes to a close and we have put the fun of the Fourth behind us, but there is still plenty of summer left to be had in Arlington.

Here are three ideas to keep the fun on summer rolling and as a bonus, this weekend is supposed to be warm – mid 80's – but not roasting hot like it has been this week.

Waking Sleeping Beauty

Saturday, July 10, 10 a.m.

Spy Pond Clean-Up

The Friends of Spy Pond Park will be working in Spy Pond Park, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to clean up and eliminate invasive plants in the planting beds at the shore. Meet at the playground. Please bring gloves and hand pruners if you have them, or borrow a few of ours. Rain date Sunday, July 11.

Wine Tasting

Menotomy Beer & Wine holds weekly wine tastings every Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. with new wines for sampling each week. There are also specialty cheeses.
