Three Things to Do in Arlington This Weekend

It is supposed to be a scorcher this weekend with some potential thunderstorms. What better way to spend the time than inside where all the hot stuff is cool? The only outdoor activity includes water and is for a good cause, so it does not count.

Beer Tasting

Every Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. Menotomy Beer and Wine has a beer tasting. Come meet with friends and sample different beers.

KIRTAN with Shubalananda and Ashley, plus special guests

The singing of kirtan goes back thousands of years in India. Created by ancient rishis from the seed mantras of the Vedas, the sounds are designed to resonate with your chakras to help move the energy up your spine. The chanting will start at 7 p.m. at The Arlington Center  at 369 Mass. Ave.

AHS Car Wash

The Arlington High School Varsity Cheerleading Squad will have a car wash from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the front of the high school. Cost is $5 car/$10 for SUV and trucks and all proceeds go towards the team's fundraising efforts to go to this year's Gator Bowl, as well as to try to defray this year's the increased user fees.
