Tito Jackson To Speak At Arlington MLK Day Event
This is the 28th annual MLK Day event for Arlington.

ARLINGTON, MA — Former Boston City Councilor and Mayoral Candidate Tito Jackson is scheduled to be the guest speaker at the Arlington celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
A special feature of the evening event will be a recognition of 50 years of METCO in Arlington. Jackson grew up in Boston, but was a METCO student in Brookline.
Expect performances from the Newton Myrtle Baptist Gospel Ensemble. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. in Town Hall with light refreshments. The program is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a collection spot non-perishable goods for the Arlington Food Pantry. There will also be an optional collection for donations to benefit public and nonprofit programs that further the goals of Dr. King.
