See the latest announcement from Town of Arlington.

04/28/2021

This month the Town of Arlington is joining the Alliance of YWCAs of MA’s Stand Against Racism campaign for April 2021. Organized by the Town’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division, throughout the month a number of Town departments will be internally holding conversations on race. Some discussions are based on topics of choice by departments and others are focused discussions on the curated content provided by YW Boston. Staff members are exploring issues of racial equity and are taking this opportunity to learn how to advance racial equity within their work. As these discussions progress throughout the month, expect to see pledge boards by Town staff on the Town’s social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) and on this page. The online pledge boards will display commitments made by Town staff to stand against racism. Look for the hashtags #ArlingtonMA #StandAgainstRacism #YWeStand
