When you mow your lawn, be sure to keep grass clippings out of storm drains! During storms, rain can wash grass clippings from lawn edges into our storm drains and then into our local water bodies. This leads to water pollution which may be harmful to humans and wildlife alike.  Instead, leave the clippings on the ground away from road edges or compost them to make a natural fertilizer.  Otherwise bag them up for curbside pickup.
