The plan includes strategies for short-term recovery and a set of longer-term priorities. The three towns have been working with project consultant Finepoint Associates to assess economic and physical conditions of businesses adjacent to the Minuteman Bikeway, conduct research, and develop ideas for supporting businesses in their recovery. This work will tie into and support a different CPA-funded Minuteman Bikeway planning project coming to Arlington this fall.
Nearly 100 members from the three communities attended a June 8 forum to hear findings from Finepoint Associates’ assessment and share their ideas for supporting economic recovery. Participants from Arlington focused on providing support to businesses along the Minuteman Bikeway in Arlington Heights in their recovery from COVID-19. Information and ideas gathered at the forum informed project recommendations.
