Town Of Arlington: Consolidated Annual Performance And Evaluation Report For CDBG Program Released

The Town of Arlington Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program has released its draft Program Year 46 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) and has opened a comment period under the guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds are distributed by HUD for community-based programs that facilitate decent housing, a suitable living environment, and expanded economic opportunities, principally for persons of low- and moderate-incomes.

The CAPER summarizes CDBG objectives undertaken in Arlington during the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021. The Town is looking for feedback on its efforts in meeting the goals and objectives described in the HUD-approved Consolidated Plan and the Program Year 46 Annual Action Plan. The draft CAPER and the Annual Action Plan are available to view at arlingtonma.gov/cdbg.

The draft CAPER is available for public comment from Thursday, August 26, 2021, through Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Upon timely request, the Town will provide reasonable accommodation to enable individuals with disabilities or Limited English Proficiency to participate in public comment, including access to materials in alternative formats.

All comments received on the CAPER will be considered for inclusion in the final report sent to HUD along with the Town’s responses.
