The Arlington community is invited to attend the annual State of the Town event, hosted by the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The event will include a panel discussion with Select Board Chairperson, Stephen DeCourcey; Town Manager, Adam Chapdelaine; Director of Planning and Community Development, Jennifer Raitt; Economic Development Coordinator, Ali Carter; and moderated by Executive Director of Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Beth Locke, followed by questions and answers. - COVID-19 challenges, impacts, and response of the Arlington Economic Development Recovery Task Force since March 2020.
- Community Development Block Grant funding for small businesses and microenterprises, along with other accomplishments of the past year.
- Discussion of future challenges and opportunities for collaboration between Town and Chamber to improve the business climate in Arlington.
- Discussion of Town's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) allocations for economic development.
