On March 8, 2020 the Town of Arlington announced the closure Stratton Elementary School. It was the Town’s first brush with the novel Coronavirus that has since disrupted all of our lives. From those first few days of uncertainty to all that we have learned and sacrificed during the past year as we work together toward herd immunity, we’d like to offer this reflection in images. From staff cell phones to submissions from the public (to the COVID-19 Archive), “A Year with COVID-19” in pictures will run all week on several of the Town’s social media channels – because one image cannot encapsulate this past year. We also invite the public to share their own images on social media with the hashtag #AYearWithCOVID or submit photos, videos, or art to the library’s COVID-19 Archive.
