TRUE STORY THEATER PERFORMANCE: "Stories from the First Generation"

Come join us for "Stories from the First Generation" by Arlington’s True Story Theater on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 4:00-5:30pm.

Are you the first in your family to go to college? Or the first in your family to live in this country ? These roles come with special strengths and challenges. Come to share your experience or just to watch and listen.

If the description “first generation” does not fit your life, we still warmly invite you to attend. Come to show your support and to gain insight and compassion by witnessing the creative enactments.

$15-25 at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds. All are welcome.

To join us, come to Arlington Center for the Arts Gallery, 20 Academy St, 3rd floor, Arlington. Free parking is available behind the building. Accessible entry is via 27 Maple St. door. Thank you to ACA, a co-presenter of this event.

"Stories from the First Generation" is an interactive theater performance where True Story Theater company members will guide audience volunteers through telling moments from their lives that the performers then artistically reflect back using movement, music, and dialogue.
