Week in Preview
World Series' games, voter registration, farmers' market and restaurant week on tap this week in Arlington.
The Arlington 14-year-old Babe Ruth All Star team has at least three games this week at the 2010 World Series in Loudoun County, Virginia.
Arlington, the New England regional champ, plays host Loudoun County at 8 p.m. tonight in National League Pool Play. The team then faces the Southwest Regional champs on Tuesday, before completing pool play against the Pacific Northwest champs on Wednesday.
The top three teams in the National league and the American League advance to the elimination rounds, which begin Thursday. The World Series final is scheduled for Saturday.

Arlington lost its opener 8-1 on Saturday against the Midwest Plains regional champs from Minnesota.
Voter Registration

Residents have until Wednesday, August 25, to register to vote for the state primary on September 14.
The town clerk's office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Residents can also download a registration form and send it to the clerk's office. As long as it's postmarked by August 25, it should be valid. Forms can also be picked up at the clerk's office and then sent back in.
Farmers' Market
The Arlington Farmers' Market will celebrate Massachusetts Farmers' Market Week from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Russell Common parking lot. There will be a rolling tasting cart and prizes.
Restaurant Week
Restaurant week continues through Friday. The Arlington restaurants participating are Buona Vita, Flora, Ristorante Olivio, Tango and Tryst.
Meetings
A Redevelopment Board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight, and there will be a Zoning Board of Appeals hearing at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Both meetings will be in the second floor conference room of the Town Hall annex.
The Historic District Commission is set to meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Whittemore-Robbins House.
