Which Arlington Roads are Part of the Repaving Project?

ARLINGTON - Wondering about all those potholes and bumps after the winter spotting Arlington's streets? As part of the Town’s Capital Improvement Program, the Department of Public Works will be "rehabilitating" a number of roads throughout Town. That means repaving and fixing cracks. The town used information from the most recent pavement condition survey and determined which roads needed it most based on criteria from the Pavement Management System.

The town's Department of Public Works will coordinate and monitor the construction and repaving work. But the town’s paving contractors, D&R Paving and All States Materials Group will do the bulk of the work, according to the town.

What kind of work are we talking about? Road milling, leveling, casting adjustments, and/or re-surfacing and a bit of crack sealing, rubber-chip sealing, and infrared pavement patching.

Work is scheduled to start this spring and will last throughout the 2017 construction season. Flyers will be distributed to notify resident in the specific areas prior to work commencing, according to the town.
