ARLINGTON, MA — With the election just a few days away, much of the campaigning has already been done. If dollar signs equaled votes, Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will have won Arlington in a landslide.
According to the Federal Election Commission, the former Secretary of State has received $308,904 from Arlington residents. She is followed by Republican nominee Donald Trump receiving $4,439; Green Party candidate Jill Stein receiving 1,208; and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson receiving $400.
Clinton's lead in Arlington reflects to her lead in the historically Democratic Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The FEC indicates that Clinton has raised $18,727,470 in Massachusetts; compared to Trump's $1,350,076, Johnson's $150,199 and Stein's $39,177.
