Whole Foods Raises $2,613 for ACA New England

Whole Foods Market Arlington hosted a 5% Day fundraiser last Wednesday to support American Camp Association New England. Each fiscal quarter, the store chooses a nonprofit they feel makes a positive impact in their community and donates 5% of a day’s total sales. “Our team members were really impressed with the work ACA New England was doing. So many of us have great memories of camps we attended and the impact it had on our childhood. To be able to give the gift of camp to children who otherwise would not be able to thrive in that setting is a special feeling,” stated Matt Robertson, the store’s Marketing Team Leader. Whole Foods Market Arlington will host their next 5% Day in September and urges nonprofit organizations to apply by visiting the store’s website.
