UPDATE: Fairmont Avenue Fire Under Control

Firefighters battled a blaze at 32A Fairmont Ave. Tuesday evening in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, MA—A working fire damaged a home in Arlington Tuesday evening, according to Arlington Fire Department Deputy Chief Chip Ryan.

Ryan told Patch that the fire at 32A Fairmont Ave. was put out by approximately 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. Reports of the fire originally surfaced at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Ryan told Patch that no one was injured during the blaze, and estimated that around $50,000 of damage was done to the home.
