Attleboro Man Convinced Abused Woman to Leave Group Home Then Raped Her, Police Say

An Attleboro man this week was charged with convincing a woman to leave a group home then raping her.

Police said Duffy met a 31-year-old woman with mental problems on a website for abused woman. The woman was staying at a group home in Carver, Mass. at the time. Police said Duffy convinced her to leave the home with him and he drove her to his camp, where he raped her.
At one point, the victim dialed 911 on her phone, hiding it under a pillow. Police responded to the camp and arrested Duffy.

He was charged with four counts of gross sexual assault and two counts of unlawful sexual contact.
