Why Go: The band that identifies itself as crunk/funk/punk is going on after two decent local bands: The Last Good Tooth and The Silks.

2. ULTIMATE KARAOKE
Where/When: The Luxury Box at 250 Fall River Ave.; 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4. 
Why Go: Why would you not want to check out locals belting out Pat Benatar and Bon Jovi? Plus, Friday night is the final night where someone could win a G.

3. BOYS BASKETBALL GAME
Where/When: ; Friday, Feb. 4, 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Feeling getting your townie pride on? Check out a game. Some of the players have serious moves.

Where/When: AS220 located on Empire Street, Providence; Saturday, Feb. 5, 1-5 p.m.
Why Go: These are hard times so let's revert to Waterworld capital structures. No money allowed at this market, just bartering. Take what you want, give what you want. Items may include, food, household items, love, conversation.

5. CHINESE NEW YEARWhere/When: Highland Country Club, 104 Mechanic St. in Attleboro; Saturday 6-9 p.m.
Why Go: Chinese food, martial arts demonstrations, fast-paced lion dance, Chinese character writing and a silent auction to help the Attleboro Area's hungry. 
Pricing: $28 Single; $50 Couples
