• Shawsheen shuts out Bishop Feehan, extends winning streak to 30 games (bostonherald.com) — A defensive battle in Attleboro saw Bishop Feehan's offense stifled as Shawsheen Tech extended its winning streak to 30 games with a 7–0 road victory. Local fans watched the Shamrocks manage only -7 yards of offense despite a late field-goal chance, while Shawsheen's relentless defense and key runs closed out the clock at McGrath Stadium. 
• Bristol Community College to host open house event (heraldnews.com) — Bristol Community College, which operates a campus in Attleboro, is inviting prospective students to a free open house at its Fall River campus on Oct. 24, with tours and help on admissions and financial aid. Attleboro residents can also learn how Massachusetts' free college initiative might cover their tuition and explore programs that connect directly to local jobs and workforce training.
