The Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons has granted accreditation to the Cancer Program at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. Sturdy’s cancer program has been continuously accredited since 1988 based on the Hospital’s ability to meet more than 30 required quality standards.
The Commission on Cancer (CoC) evaluates cancer programs to measure compliance in meeting standards related to cancer program leadership, cancer data quality, clinical services, continuum of care management, patient outcomes, research, community outreach, and quality improvement.
