1 Crew Member Identified In Sinking Of MA Fishing Boat
The search for another fisherman aboard the Yankee Rose was called off Friday, and his name has not yet been publicly released.

PROVINCETOWN, MA — A crew member who died when fishing vessel Yankee Rose capsized and sank Thursday has been identified as Angel Nieves, 37, of New Bedford.
Rescue personnel pulled Nieves from the water roughly 3 miles off Race Point at 12:27 p.m., soon after the boat overturned. He was brought to MacMillan Pier in Provincetown but could not be resuscitated, Cape & Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois said late Saturday in a statement.
The Yankee Rose, based in New Bedford, sank mid-afternoon Thursday amid a field of debris. The Coast Guard, Massachusetts Environmental Police and other first responders continued looking for a second man aboard the vessel until suspending the search Friday afternoon.

The name of that fisherman had not been released on Sunday.
A crowdsourcing campaign honoring Nieves by his sister, Makayla Nieves, described him as "a devoted family man who deeply loved God, his four children, nieces and nephews, the ocean, and lived with a generous heart."
