Additional units also responded, finding a damaged car a short distance away on High School Road. The car likely fled the scene of the shooting and crashed into an uninvolved vehicle, police said.

On Monday, three people were charged with a variety of crimes.

Gabriele Leite was said to have initially left the scene of the crime, but witnesses pointed out that he was involved in the shooting, and has now pled not guilty to drug possession charges.

Two people, Allan Monteiro and Daishawn Williams, are charged with interfering with the investigation. Officials said they didn't follow police directions to stay away from the shooter during their arrest.

To that point, police have arrested the alleged shooter, but they didn't appear in court on Monday.

All three have entered not guilty pleas, and all were released with orders from a Barnstable District Court judge to stay off of Hyannis Main Street.
