8 Great White Sharks Spotted Off Cape Cod Beach
Beaches have not yet been closed but officials are urging caution.

ORLEANS, MA – Eight great white sharks were spotted by a pilot flying over Nauset Beach in Orleans Thursday, according to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy. One of the sharks was seen close to shore.
Beaches have not yet been closed, but officials are urging caution.
Cape Cod officials have temporarily closed beaches in several towns and issued extra warnings at others this summer amid the first attack on a human in six years and shark sightings seemingly every day. Last month, a 61-year-old New York man was bitten by a shark off the coast of Truro.
