9 Great White Sharks Spotted In Cape Cod Bay
Great white sharks have returned to Cape Cod for the summer.

WELLFLEET, MA — The Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy began field work for the 2019 white shark research season off Cape Cod. Teams working in Cape Cod Bay spotted nine white sharks Monday, the Conservancy said.
The sharks were 8-11 feet long. The majority of them were seen at least two miles off the coast of Wellfleet, according to the Conservancy.
A 13-foot great white was also seen eating a seal off Monomoy Island near the southern tip of Cape Cod Monday morning.
