On Dec. 1, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors: Erin Madden, General Sales Manager of Cape Cod Broadcasting; Rob O'Leary, Professor of History at Massachusetts Maritime Academy; and Geoffrey Smith, fine artist and owner of Aries East Gallery in Brewster.
"We are delighted to welcome such a diverse and talented trio to our Board," said Executive Director Kevin Howard. "We have an ambitious program planned over the next several years and we look forward to having these dynamic people assisting us in reaching our goals."
Erin Madden and Geoffrey Smith come to the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod after serving on the Spring 2011 Grant Review Committee, and Rob O'Leary on the Fall 2011 Grant Review Committee.
These new Directors will be integral to the success of the Arts Foundation's year round programming, which includes a semi-annual grants program, an educational winter art exhibit, collaborative arts marketing initiatives, and the signature fundraiser, TD Bank Pops by the Sea, which will be held on August 12, 2012.
