The Cape Abilities 5K Walk/Run is just weeks away! Set for Saturday, May 19 at Hyannis Village Green, it’s an inclusive community event that’s lots of fun and helps people with disabilities on Cape Cod. Celebrate your abilities: Run, walk or even wheelchair a flat, wheel-measured course with gorgeous water views.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., runners start at 9:15 and walkers step off at 9:20 p.m. Walkers may register on their own or as teams. All monies raised help support Cape Abilities, a nonprofit organization that provides jobs, homes, transportation and support for people with disabilities across Cape Cod.
Register at www.CapeAbilities.org. Registration is $25 online through May 16, or $30 on race day. The first 400 registrants will receive T-shirts.
