Cape Cod Tea Party to Show Atlas Shrugged

The Plymouth Rock/Cape Cod and Island Tea Party Patriots will be showing the movie, Atlas Shrugged at their next meeting on Thursday, December 8^th.   The movie will start promptly at 5:30 at the Bourne Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 239 Main St., in Bourne  

Atlas Shrugged Part 1 is the movie adaptation of the first third of the novel by Ayn Rand.  According to its official website (www.atlasshruggedpart1.com) "its theme is the role of individual achievement in society and its goal is to demonstrate what can happen when individual achievement is undervalued, suppressed and demonized. Complex characters embody heroism and evil, in a plot that combines drama, mystery, romance, and science fiction - the result is ultimately inspirational, not apocalyptic".
